San Martín de los Andes:
The beauty of its landscapes, the peace and tranquility that its great green extensions offer, make the visit to this place, which let you enjoy the charm of the snow in winter and the adventure tourism in summer in an imposing contact with nature, impossible to miss.
It is the main tourist centre of the province. Its origins go back to 1883, when a fort was set up in the Vega Maipú. Today it is an active community with 18.000 inhabitants.

The city, situated between the Lácar eastern lakeside and the fertile Vega Maipú valley, is picturesque, of Alpine style, and with buildings with abundant wood and wide pavement streets resulting of an ordered outlining.

In winter the city gets covered by snow. This is an ideal frame for the practice of ski in the neighbouring winter centre of Chapelco.
In summer, the activities are mostly carried out in contact with nature, within the Lanín National Park, where you will find several possibilities: sporting fishing of salmonids , trekking, rafting, mountaineering, fotographic safaris, excursions in 4 x 4, etc.

With an important lodging capacity and a varied number of gastronomic establishments, San Martín de Los Andes offers a suggestive proposal of tourist services.
Cozy restaurants specialized in deer, trouts, fondue, and international dishes; and picturesque tea houses and cafeterias, make up part of its gastronomic offer.

This village has different accomodation possibilities for the tourism, ranging from camp grounds with an adequate infrastructure, up to cabins and hotels of varied categories.
As long as activities and sports are concerned, San Martin de los Andes has fihing and trekking guides, tourism agencies with varied proposals in lacustrine and terrestrial excursions, and night places for having fun, such as the casino, which is located right in the centre of the city.

Villa La Angostura:
This beautiful mountain village is located in the South of the province of Neuquén, right in the heart of the lakes of the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
Here is the entrance to the Arrayanes National Park (Myrtles), the only place in the world where you will find a pure myrtles wood- in its arboreal form.
This village has a very nice architecture, of a highland style, with buildings generally located over the beaches bathed by the Nahuel Huapi waters- some of them quite sumptuous and with a spectacular sight.
It is a place of captivating beauty, with plenty of places barely touched by men, that let you enjoy the tranquility and silence.
This city has a perfect location for the lovers of sporting fishing, skiing in Mount Bayo, and adventure tourism: with the possibility of taking part in activities such as trekking, mountaineering, mountain byke, kayac, etc.
The climate of this region, though cold, is quite balmy, for it is cushioned by the climatic effect produced by the surrounding mountains and the lacustrine courses.
Its imposing landscape offers the possibility of carrying out varied terrestrial and lacustrine excursions, where you can meet the famous myrtle woods, visit the wonderful Bahía Manzano, reach the streams and nearby falls surrounded by beautiful flowers and varied vegetation, among other options.
The strategic location of this village and its refined tourist infrastructure as regards lodging and gastronomy turns La Angostura, into a dreamy place.
